The Auckland Blues Club, a non-profit incorporated society, will be 'officially' launched in March 2010
The Auckland Live Blues Club that Dean Morris started in 2007, will amalgamate with the newly formed Auckland Blues Club. Plans have been put in place to smoothly amalgamate the two clubs and to run the new club that will reach more people, & create many benefits. The transition is in progress and we look forward to the next 12 months. For the time being, the Sunday Blues at Naval & Family & Thirsty Dog shows will run as they currently do.
As a non-profit incorporated society the Auckland Blues Club will be 'officially' launched in March 2010 and as part of the club our mission will be to promote and further the playing, performance, enjoyment and study of blues music by way of concerts, public performances, tuition, encouragement and support to blues musicians of all ages and those interested in the blues.
