One of New Zealand's best rock guitarists born December 1957, died of a heart attack in February 2006 aged 48.
Paul played and worked with a very big coterie of musicians and singers, predominately throughout the 70's and 80's, and then on to present day with the likes of Renee Gayer in Australia for 3 years. He started with the band Panic, then the Valentinos and Flight X7. He played soul and blues with Sonny Day, The Hammond Gamble Band, and Truda and the Sugar Baby's. Paul also co-founded the infamous Beats Working with their legendary behaviour and backed various singers including Rose Reece Morgan and many, many more. Paul had a Stratocaster guitar that he played deep down from his Rock n Roll heart that soared and sang to many a punter and played to the best of his ability, especially at outdoor concerts.
