Thursday 20th Oct heats go well - the blues is back in Auckland City!
Thursday 20th Oct once again rained but Paul Walker & Robert Taylor showed up to judge the blues men & women on stage at the latest heat of the "ultimate blues band" competition. As well as being a consummate musician, Paul Walker ran "The PowerStation", one of Auckland's most successful venues, for many years.
The judges were brought to stage front on 2006 Harley Davidsons. The contestant perfumed all sorts of blues, and once again it went off extremely well. Midge Marsden came down to show his support. Leigh Hart was there from sports cafe, and a mention will be made on sports cafe Wed 26th Oct. Leigh Hart & Midge pulled off a Stevie Ray Vaughn classic 'Pride & Joy'
We have been offered to start jam nights after this audition process is over. So watch this space for details.
