New SRV Web Site

Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon announce new web site, launched to coincide with Stevie Ray Vaughan's birthday...

Dear online friends:

Chris and I are happy to announce that we will soon have an official
website, which will be located at:

http://www.SRVDoubleTrouble.com

While most of the site is not ready, we want to publicly release one
section, our audio-enhanced Photo Album, on Saturday, October 3, to
commemorate Stevie's birthday.

Our Photo Album will feature some of our favourite pictures from over the
years (several which have never been publicly released.) Chris and I
are currently adding narration to the pages via RealAudio; you will be
able to click on an icon on the photo pages and hear our recollections and
memories associated with the picture or pictures on that page. In the
very near future, our narration will be transcribed into text to
accommodate visitors without sound cards, and for our hearing impaired
friends.

Future areas that will be developed on the site will include our online
press kit, a guestbook, a merchandise area, some of our favourite recipes,
and a lot of other surprises that Chris and I are currently planning.

The site is being designed, and will be maintained by our friend Beverly
Howell, of Howell Productions, Inc. She hosts and produces Blues Chat, at
http://www.BluesChat.com, and also builds sites for Jonny Lang, Bernard
Allison, Ronnie Baker Brooks, and many other artists.

Chris and I are very excited about our forthcoming home on the internet,
and hope you will enjoy our website as much as we are enjoying working on
it.

With Warm Regards,

Tommy Shannon
