HAMILTON BLUES JAM

Hamilton's Blues Society restarts its regular monthly meetings - with a blues jam - coming up this month at Diggers Bar

Finally… something to do on a Thursday night in Hamilton! The Hamilton Blues Society, in conjunction with Diggers Coffee House and Bar will host a blues jam on 24 June 1999. The jam is aimed at both musicians who want to play the blues, and blues fans who are content to kick back and listen to some great spontaneous blues.

All levels of musician are welcome - from beginners to professionals. The focus is on having a good time and encouraging like-minded individuals to get together.

Organisation will be fairly casual. If you want to play, turn up early and put your name on the board. A small PA, a drum kit, and a couple of guitar amps will be provided, so all you need to bring is yourself and your guitar, harp, or whatever. There is only one rule - you gotta play blues!
If successful, the jam will become a regular event. So… shuffle down to Diggers on Thursday 24 June and play/hear some blues.
